 Delayed Store Opening

As we’ve previously communicated, we are replacing our aging septic system, which was in significantly bad shape and an environmental hazard. The work is due to finish by Memorial Day weekend. We will then have a fully compliant, environmentally safe system built for the long-term.

The second project is the replacement of the store bathroom and deck at the top of the stairs to the second floor. We recently discovered an abundance of mold in both structures, making them unsafe and uninhabitable. The mold was primarily due to a design flaw that allowed snow to build up on the upstairs deck, which was also the roof of the bathroom. The new construction fixes the design flaw by building two separate structures and will leave the store in far better condition. This work is due to finish the week of May 25.

Once we complete the repairs and test the water, we will be able to open the store.

Thank you for your patience.

Now is a great time to preload your store account by sending a check to LuAnne. This helps her get better deals stocking the store and filling the gas tank.
