Wyanoke is a wild, wooded, sublime and serene Island, with a “boutique” cottage, sitting upon a rock. This unique cottage, designed by architects Bill & Dianna Grater (CYC) and built by Steve White in 2002-2003, affords it’s residents 180° breathtaking views of The River, International Seaway, Singer Island Castle and the shores of Ontario.
Our cottage is equipped with uv filtered river water, nat’l grid cable electricity, a closed 100 gallon biological septic system, new roof (2022), double hung double pane wooden windows, insulation in the floor, walls, ceiling,
3 bedrooms with closets upstairs, 2 full bathrooms & one half bath/laundry room with baseboard electric heating and one 300 sq ft ground floor room w/ a separate entrance, serving as an apartment space.
The large, modern kitchen has a built on breakfast bar, extending out into the dining and living room space, with suspended beams, opening to the roof. A large screened-in porch off the living room affords more view points to the eastern shores, the thick woodland, & nearby Ragnovok Island. There is a small, shallow water cove for docking, a canoe /skiff launch area & a rock ledge swimming area.
